There’s so much wrong with this article: flat fenders aren’t exactly the safest rock crawlers , you don’t want to go to the hospital right now, and no, the world won’t be back to normal in May...
But such beautiful Jeeps.

But General Patton, this doesn’t seem safe.
GET UP THERE YOU PANSY BEFORE I RIP YOUR NUTS OFF AND FEED THEM TO MY DOGS.

Social distancing is great as long as it doesn’t apply to me or any of the gas stations I stopped at driving to the offroad park!

Well, the invasion of Sicily didn’t happen till mid 1943. The US only landed in North Africa in November 1942.

In full agreement with your assessment with their idiocy. But they do look good!
I had a 62 CJ6 for years as a project and it was objectively awful at so many things I could never really decide which way I wanted to go with the project so finally got rid of it because it both required a complete replacement of all running gear to function at modern speeds, but would also be terrifying at them! I replaced it with a International Scout II that’s way less sketch but parts are way harder to find leaving it non-running a lot of the time. Now I’ve got a Mazda pickup (not the ranger one) that seems to be a decent mix between strange but fairly available parts. Hopefully it’ll stay around for a bit.

The government apparently determined that the virus can’t spread in groups of less than 10 people.
Similar to how 3.5 oz of a liquid explosive can bring down a plane, but 3.4 will always be totally safe.

Yeah, it’s pretty bad.

I have no room to judge, because I was just out on Monday with my cousin doing some braaaping of my own.
And d
irt biking is arguably more dangerous than vintage Jeep rock crawling. It’ll probably be the last time I do it for a few months though.

Didn’t Patton die by falling out of a jeep?

It was a cadillac. The actual vehicle is on display in the Patton museum.

General Patton was left paralyzed from neck down after his Cadillac collided with a parked military truck at slow speed, he died in the hospital 12 days later.
I was always told a Jeep but it doesn’t appear to be the case.

Yeah my friend has a bunch of Jeeps on his ranch, from MBs on up, all need restoration. I got an M37 so I could use it to carry things at least and I like being high up. It has doors too.

It was a cadillac. Saw this back in August at the Patton Museum although it’s not my photo. It’s the actual car from the crash as macabre as that is.
Really great museum, if a little heavy-handed/propaganda, and most of the artifacts and displays were his personal property

I think that makes you a terror suspect , y ou should probably be on a watch list now, and stopped from buying firearms.
